Today organizations apply various standards for management systems in order to reduce risks in the field of quality, ecology, occupational health and safety, information security and other aspects of management. When applying innovative solutions in the development and production of products or services, it is especially important for companies to take into account the relevant risks. Taguchi methods: the technology for quality. Part 3. Quality function deployment

Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is an approach related to Genichi Taguchi’s concept. Its application begins from market research for finding customer needs and preferences. But such research, which sequentially moves from marketing to design, from design to engineering, and from it to production, inevitably runs into significant difficulties. QFD offers the mean to overcome these difficulties. It is hidden in the «house of quality».

Really «this» will be published as ISO 45001:20XX (R)?

The article presents the results of the analysis of the adequacy of the translation into Russian of the International standard ISO 45001:2018, adopted by Rosstandard as the national standard GOST R ISO 45001—2020. Examples of numerous significant as well as systemic errors are given, which casts doubt on the validity of Rosstandard’s statement about the identity of this national standard to ISO 45001:2018.
