Abstract. Modern automobile market requires the manufactures to update quickly the model range and introduce advanced technical solutions. In the struggle for the final user, the quality of products as the degree of their compliance with requirements and expectations becomes decisive. In this regard, the topic of the submitted material acquires particular relevance. The purpose of the article is to develop a car quality data management system based on the interaction between information flows necessary for planning, evaluating and optimizing the quality of cars and their components.

QUALITY OF VEHICLE SUPPORT SYSTEMS: MODERN WORLD PRACTICES

Abstract. Cars today feature a variety of new technologies, including autonomous braking, automatic lane changing, adaptive cruise control systems, and various sensor-driven alerts. Soon, more than 50% of the cost of a new car will come from its electronics and software. At the same time, data shows that from 15 to 50% of failures during the warranty period of vehicles are associated with software defects. Issues of ensuring the reliability of automotive electronic systems must be addressed at the stage of their development.

GOST R 58139 and IATF 16949: DIFFERENCES THAT CANNOT BE OVERLOOKED

Abstract. Upon first acquaintance with GOST R 58139—2018 and its comparison with the international standard IATF 16949:2016, the authors had a multiple palette of feelings: among them were not only joy, but also surprise, misunderstanding, chagrin… The main conclusion was made immediately: the requirements of GOST R 58139 are not as broad as in IATF 16949. Most of all, I was offended by the significant simplification of the requirements for risk management. Let’s take a consistent look at all the pros and cons of the national standard.

DIGITIZATION OF EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE PROCESSES AT THE LARGE INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISE

Abstract. The article presents the experience of improving the production system of Armalit JSC (St. Petersburg) in terms of digitalization of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) processes. Its immediate goal is to increase the stability of equipment operation, eliminating its breakdowns, stops, slow speed, defects and accidents. For this purpose, the company developed a special mobile application integrated into the production system. In essence, we are talking about the digitalization of lean production tools, ensuring improved quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the entire system of enterprise processes.

ISO 55000 SERIES OF STANDARDS: 10 YEARS OF PRACTICAL APPLICATION

Abstract. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the international standards of the ISO 55000 series. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of the PAS 55 Optimal asset management specification, which became the forerunner of ISO 55000 standards and the basis for their development. In connection with a peculiar anniversary, publications in the genre of summing up are relevant. They ask the question: what effect have organizations received from the implementation of ISO 55000 standards and asset management systems (AMS) in accordance with these standards? The article provides an answer to this question based on practical examples.

HOW THE CONCEPT OF LEADERSHIP IN MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS STANDARDS RESTRAIN FOR THEIR IMPLEMENTATION

Abstract. According to the Oxford Dictionary of Psychology, the only correct way to use the term «leadership» is to denote the exercise of authority and influence within a social group. In other words, «to function as a leader» means to exercise leadership. However, this term is often used as if it is a personality trait, and there is a set of certain skills that reflect leadership abilities. Although there is some intuitive truth in this, the way of using it leads to hopeless confusion, because in this case the role of the situation itself in determining leadership behavior is neglected.
