B.A. Itkin HOW THE CONCEPT OF LEADERSHIP IN MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS STANDARDS RESTRAIN FOR THEIR IMPLEMENTATION Abstract. According to the Oxford Dictionary of Psychology, the only correct way to use the term «leadership» is to denote the exercise of authority and influence within a social group. In other words, «to function as a leader» means to exercise leadership. However, this term is often used as if it is a personality trait, and there is a set of certain skills that reflect leadership abilities. Although there is some intuitive truth in this, the way of using it leads to hopeless confusion, because in this case the role of the situation itself in determining leadership behavior is neglected. Keywords: leadership, top management, ISO 9000:2015, ISO 9004:2018. |
