PROBLEMS IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF AUTOMATIC EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEMS: A COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS

Abstract. The authors examine key problems arising at different stages of the life cycle of automatic emission control systems at industrial enterprises. For each stage (design, construction and installation works and operation), comprehensive solutions are proposed, including the use of modern measurement methods, mandatory verification of gas-dynamic models, improving the quality of installation and maintenance, as well as developing staff competence.

AUTOMATION OF TESTING LABORATORY PROCESSES DURING VEHICLE CERTIFICATION: JUSTIFICATION OF EXPEDIENCY

Abstract. The article substantiates the expediency of automating part of the operations carried out in а testing laboratory as part of vehicle certification process. All the steps involved in the process are detailized, from submitting an application to uploading documentation in the Federal State Information System of Rosaccreditation. The lists of mandatory documents are presented, stages of interaction with clients and other stakeholders are considered, problem areas are detected, and risks associated with human error are identified.

DIGITALIZATION OF AN ENTERPRISE BEGINS WITH A DOCUMENT

Abstract. In 2017, MilFoods, one of Russia’s largest coffee producers, began implementing a digital database of regulatory documentation for quality control department. It was based on the professional Techexpert reference systems developed for food industry enterprises. Experts from the Kodeks Consortium explain how this database was created and which additional features of the Techexpert platform have proven most valuable to the company’s employees.

The article examines the types of environmental safety certificates that exist in Russia, the procedures for their registration, and the categories of goods for which they can be obtained.

SELECTING METHODS FOR ASSESSING ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES OF MEDICAL DEVICES

Abstract. The article discusses the issues of scientific and methodological substantiation of selecting methods used to assess the safety, effectiveness and quality of medical devices. It is extremely important when introducing such products to the market and monitoring their circulation. Special attention is paid to microbiological studies, which occupy a prominent place in a number of toxicological tests.

STAFF COMPETENCE IS THE KEY TO RELIABILITY OF RESULTS OBTAINED IN COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINE LABORATORIES

Abstract. The article examines the role of staff competence in ensuring the reliability and dependability of measurements performed on coordinate measuring machines. An analysis of the competence structure is carried out, its levels for employees occupying various positions in the laboratory are described. Particular attention is paid to the systematic approach to the formation, assessment and maintenance of competence through selection, structured training, regular certification and continuous development of personnel.

THE USE OF EXPERT METHODS IN ASSESSING PROCESS QUALITY OF RESEARCH TESTS FOR ELECTRIC ROCKET ENGINES. PART 2

Abstract. The second part of the article provides a comparative analysis of the results obtained in assessing work processes in two laboratory complexes engaged in research testing of products in rocket and space industry. Such analysis allows identifying problem areas and taking corrective measures necessary to improve the efficiency of laboratory activities.

GRAPEVINE EXTRACT AS A SOURCE OF VALUABLE COMPONENTS FOR FOOD PRODUCTION

Abstract. The article presents the results of a study on the composition of the water-­alcohol and acetone extract of ripened dry grapevine of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties, conducted using capillary electrophoresis and spectrophotometry. The extract composition was investigated to determine the possibility of using grapevine as a source of biologically active substances.
