STANDARDIZATION IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DRAWING: CONTRIBUTION OF SCIENTISTS OF BAUMAN MOSCOW STATE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Тhe article shows in detail the historical relationship of standardization processes in drawing, which led to the creation of the Unified System of Design Documentation in the second half of the XX century. The contribution of scientists and graduates of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University to the system of standards for machine-building drawing is presented. The material is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Chair of Metrology and Interchangeability. Special attention is paid to the illustrative series, which includes the artwork of the oldest Moscow photographer A.K. Boldin, a graduate of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
