The article considers the validation process for evaluation using the EFQM Model focused on working with organizations that are beginning to move towards excellence, as well as issues of creating tools for flexible and effective organizational diagnostics to estimate the level of management maturity and competitiveness of Russian enterprises. Using new approaches to organizational diagnostics based on third-generation models of excellence (for example, EFQM 2020), the authors assess the prospects for differentiated application of such techniques to solve business problems.
