The editorial Board of the journal "Standards and Quality" accepts articles, notes, reviews, reflections, information materials on the following subjects:

The basic requirements to the content: topicality, usefulness, novelty.

Materials with the inter-sectorial nature and practical orientation are published in the periodical, as well as sectorial articles, if the experience described in them can be used in other industries.

English terms used in the article must be translated into Russian language and abbreviations - deciphered.

The editorial Board reserves the right to change the title of the article.

Basic requirements for design.

In the editorial Board provided the author's original article in Russian in electronic form by e-mail stq@mirq.ru containing the text in Word format. The text is typed in Times New Roman Cyr, size 12 PT, with one-and-a-half line spacing. The article volume should not exceed 10 pages of computer text (20 thousand characters with spaces), including tables, figures and diagrams. The list of references is formatted in accordance with accepted standards and shall be made at the end of the article. Sources are given alphabetically (Russian, other languages). Reference to the list are given in the main text in square brackets [...].

The text of the article should be prepared in IBM-compatible computers. When transferring information, saturated a large number of diagrams and tables by email it is advisable to make archive files.

Types of medium accepted: CD, DVD.

File names must not exceed 8 characters.

It is necessary to provide references to the graphical objects in the text by numbering them in parentheses, e.g. (Fig. 1).

The authors are responsible for the content of articles and the fact of their publication.

The editors do not always share the opinions of the authors and is not responsible for the uncertainty of published data.

Articles and provided CDS and DVDs, and other materials won't be returned.

Articles prepared without taking into account the above rules, won't be accepted.

The periodical "Standards and quality" is included in the List of leading reviewed scientific magazines and editions in which should be published basic scientific results of thesis for a doctor's degree and candidate of Sciences. The maximum volume of scientific materials for publication in the periodical should be about 5400 characters (including figures, schemes, tables), type Times New Roman Cyr, size 12pt, with one-and-a-half line spacing.

1. Submitted articles are registered by the Executive Secretary of the editorial office. The author receives e-mail notification of articles, and the mark about the time reading of the letter is recorded in the log.

2. Responsible Secretary of the editorial Board pre-determines the compliance of the manuscript to the journal profile, the requirements for its design. Materials that do not meet these conditions, in agreement with the Deputy editor-in-chief will be returned to the authors with indication of reasons of refusal.

3. Scientific Articles undergo an editorial scientific examination by experts, determines their compliance of the stated issues, the degree of disclosure of the topic, scientific novelty.

The examination is carried out by the members of the editorial Board — leading experts in the field of standardization and quality.

All scientific articles are verified by Antiplagiat software.

4. The examination is conducted according to the following criteria:

In case of revealing of discrepancy of the article to the given criteria, Executive Secretary with the consent of the Deputy editor-in-chief sends the article to one of the members of the Advisory Council to make decisions about the recommendations for improvement of the article or reject it from publication.

6. If the article needs revision, the author receives a review of the Editorial Board member or the Advisory Council member.

After corrections are submitted, the author resends the article to the editorial office.

7. The review is made to the author (authors) in print format. The review can also be sent by e-mail with read receipt messages. The fact of acquaintance is the confirmation by the author (authors) of the receipt of the review.

Author (authors) of the article may submit a reasonable disagreement with the results of the review. The decision on further review the article is accepted by the editor-in-chief or Deputy editor-in-chief.

In case of agreement with the reviewer's comments the author (authors) of the article has the right to make changes and submit the article for review again. In this case the review procedure is repeated. The date of receipt of article is the date of its last submission after editing.

8. The final decision on publication of the article accepted by the editorial Board of the journal, which is recorded in the registration book.

For minor comments that require only editorial review, and with the consent of the author (authors) can be made a decision about publishing the article.

9. The originals of reviews are kept in editorial office for five years from the date of publication and are provided upon request of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation.
